Visa Details
Indian passport holders are required to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA/eVisa) before traveling to Kenya. The eTA allows for a stay of up to 90 days and is valid for 180 days. Applications must be submitted at least 3 days before travel and can be submitted up to 90 days prior. Processing typically takes 2-5 business days. Requirements: passport valid for at least 6 months with 3 blank pages, recent passport photo, and proof of hotel reservation. Additionally, Indian citizens can enter Kenya on an East Africa tourist visa issued by Rwanda or Uganda.
Transit Through Kenya
No transit visa needed for Indians transiting through Kenya.
Must stay in the airport transit area.
