Do I Need a Visa for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from India?
For Indian passport holders · Updated March 2026
Visa Details
A visa is generally required for Indian passport holders to enter Saudi Arabia. IMPORTANT UPDATE: As of February 2025, Saudi Arabia only issues single-entry visas for tourism, business, and family visits (previously multiple-entry visas suspended). However, holders of valid Schengen, UK, and US visas or residence permits can obtain a visa on arrival or eVisa. Conditions apply: visitors must arrive through a Saudi-based carrier (e.g., Saudia, Flynas, Flyadeal), and the visas must be valid and have been used at least once. Indian nationals are not eligible for the standard eVisa unless they are permanent residents or hold valid business/tourism visas from UK, US, or Schengen countries.
