Indian passport holders can obtain an eVisa for Egypt online before travel. The eVisa allows for a stay of up to 30 days and is available in single-entry (valid 90 days) or multiple-entry (valid 6 months) formats. Processing takes around 7 working days. Alternatively, visa on arrival (30 days) is available at designated Egyptian airports for Indians who hold: (1) valid GCC resident visa, OR (2) valid visa from USA, United Kingdom, or Schengen Area. Air transit passengers with confirmed onward ticket within 48 hours do not need visas.
